A pair of boots that resemble the much-loved Nike Air Zoom Total 90 III were worn by Spanish footballer Juanma Gonzalez during a recent game in the Kings League – and they've got people talking online.
It has been a wild week for football boot enthusiasts. Adidas dropped the much-anticipated blacked out Predator with the iconic tongue strap on Tuesday, just days after releasing the all-white colourway.
The drop was met with a huge amount of enthusiasm from the community, so how will their rivals respond?

Nike previously relaunched the T90 Laser that included the iconic Shot Shield feature but for years, many have called for the company to release a remake of the Air Zoom Total 90 III.
Unfortunately, it appears that will never become a reality, according to Footy Headlines, who claim Nike won't be re-releasing any Total 90 remake in the foreseeable future.
That being said, Juanma Gonzalez's latest look while playing for Kings League side XBuyer Team has got people talking.

As you can see from the pictures below, Gonzalez sported a pair that resembled the Total 90 III, worn previously by the likes of Wayne Rooney, Fernando Torres and Luis Figo.
It actually turns out artist Ivanca Custom hand-painted the boots in co-operation with the Spanish football store Futbol Emotion, meaning they weren't an official pair.
But that didn't stop people from asking Nike to re-release the iconic boot.

One fan said: "Releasing these are the only comeback Nike now has to those gorgeous Adidas Predators," while another wrote: "This might be Nike's answer to the predators."
A third commented: "Wait a minute….could it ACTUALLY be happening?!?!"
A fourth said: "I'd buy these just to wear with bootcut jeans just like in primary school," while a fifth added: "If these release again I’m copping a pair. These were my fave boots in my childhood."

Juanma's boots, meanwhile, are the current Nike Mercurial Vapor 16.
