Three European clubs have reportedly registered interest in signing Kieran Trippier from Newcastle.
The Athletic reported in August that the right-back wanted to leave St James' Park after his return from Euro 2024 with England.
Everton were linked with a move amid their right-back crisis, but Newcastle boss Eddie Howe rubbished those reports and Trippier ultimately stayed at the club.

He started his side's 3-1 defeat to Fulham on Saturday, but has not been a regular member of the XI this season.
Despite his international retirement, The Sun now report that he is 'desperate' to leave Newcastle in search of first team football.
It is claimed that he has told Howe of his desire to play more often, and wants to secure a permanent move in January after failing to do so in the summer.

The leading contenders for his signature are believed to be Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce, who are managed by Jose Mourinho.
He also has interest from Italy, with AC Milan and Atalanta interested in bringing him in.
Milan have an English contingent at the club, with ex-Chelsea trio Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham all currently playing for them.
Atalanta, meanwhile, are the reigning Europa League champions, meaning both sides are currently playing in this season's Champions League.

Despite the rumours surrounding the 33-year-old's future, Howe once again expressed that Trippier has an 'important part to play' for Newcastle this season in an interview earlier this month.
He explained: "You can't underestimate what Kieran gives you.
"Whatever aspect of his game transfers to the team, it makes a positive difference. We felt stronger when he came onto the field [during the win vs Wolves], certainly when we had the ball.

"I'm delighted for him. He looks fitter and mentally, I think he's in a good place."
