Alan Shearer has opened up on his "amazing" experience in the Newcastle away end during last weekend's FA Cup fourth round clash against Fulham.
The 53-year-old former Magpies striker, who is the Premier League's record goalscorer with 260 goals, was spotted among the 3,600 travelling Newcastle fans at Craven Cottage.
He was serenaded throughout Saturday's contest to chants of, "Shearer, Shearer, Shearer!", and it turns out he thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon as Newcastle secured a 2-0 win.

So how did it happen? "I was heading to London anyway because I couldn't get to Newport leaving Newcastle on Sunday morning, because I would have to leave at stupid-o-clock in the morning," Shearer said on the latest Rest is Football podcast.
"So I thought I'd head to London and stay with the family. My son said to me, 'Dad, I've got a spare ticket. You always said you're going to come to an away game with me. Why don't you come to the game?'
"And I was like, 'Are you mad?' He said, 'Come on, you'll love it. It'll be amazing!' Then I thought, 'Actually, it's not a bad idea'. Then the more I thought about it, the more I thought, 'I'm gonna do it, why not'.
"He persuaded me and I went [to the game], and I'm definitely going to do it again. I absolutely loved it. It was everything - chaos, madness, excitement. It was just brilliant."
Shearer did, however, get a little bit too carried away at times – like we all do at games – and even had to remind himself to calm down or he "might get sacked for shouting at the referee."

When asked if he joined in the singing by Gary Lineker, Shearer laughed.
"A little bit," he said. "They started singing, 'Shearer, give us a song! Shearer, Shearer, give us a song!' I was thinking, 'Shall I start a song, or will I look like a d******d here?' Anyway, it was great to be a part of. I absolutely loved it and I'm definitely going to do it again."
Shearer had previously spoken about how the game "heightened emotions" if a referee made a questionable decision and Lineker prodded him on that comment.
The former Newcastle striker replied: "You know when the ref makes a poor decision, and you can hear all the fans go, 'That's f*****g useless.' Well I found myself doing the same to the referee. I was thinking, 'If the cameras are on me now...'

"Honestly, I had to think, 'Calm down, Alan, or you might get yourself sacked here for shouting at the referee!"
Newcastle will play either Blackburn or Wrexham in the next round of the FA Cup after goals from Sean Longstaff and Dan Burn sealed a relatively straightforward win against Fulham.
