New footage has emerged that appears to confirm whether the ball crossed the line in the build-up to Newcastle's controversial goal against Arsenal.
It's an incident Mikel Arteta has described as "embarrassing" and a "disgrace".
In the 64th minute, Anthony Gordon scored the winner at St James' Park but moments earlier, Joe Willock retrieved a loose ball on the byline that many thought was out of play.

Willock fired in a cross for Joelinton at the back post and Gordon proceeded to poke in the knockdown.
VAR would soon check three separate incidents in the lead-up, including a foul on Gabriel and a potential offside call in the melee that led to Gordon's goal.
After four minutes and six seconds, it was eventually deemed there was no clear angle to show whether or not the ball went out before Willock's cross – and the goal was given.

Newcastle went on to secure all three points thanks to Gordon's second-half effort, and a mass discussion around the game-winning moment continued throughout the day.
beIN Sports would later post footage that shows the ball did not cross the byline for Newcastle's goal, although Richard Keys and Andy Gray think it should have been ruled out.

According to Sky Sports, the goal was allowed to stand because there was ‘no available angle to see the point of contact’ from Joelinton, with officials being unable to determine when Joelinton last touched the ball, and if Gordon was offside.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed his frustration at the incident in a post-match interview for the ages.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Spaniard said: "How the hell does this goal stand? It's absolutely incredible. I feel embarrassed. It's an absolute disgrace that this goal is allowed. An absolute disgrace. It is not a goal, for many reasons, for more than one at least.
"It's embarrassing what happened - how this goal stands, in the Premier League - this league we say is the best in the world. I've been 20 years in this country and now I feel ashamed. It's a disgrace and there's too much at stake here. We are trying to do incredible things and be at the highest level each week.
"When we're not good enough I hold my hands up and take responsibility. The outcome is nowhere near the level this league needs to have and the way this league is getting competed in. It's not good enough. I feel sick to be part of this."
