A list of the most talented footballers has identified players from Australia, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan among the 60 top youngsters born in 2007 - Chris Rigg of Sunderland is the only English representative.
Barcelona phenom Lamine Yamal heads up the list from The Guardian and is joined by prospects from Manchester United, Real Madrid and a truly global group of other clubs and nationalities. Yamal is listed alongside three other Spanish players, two more from Barcelona and Real Madrid's Joan Martinez.
Football experts from all over the world have contributed to the Next Generation 2024 list, which features Manchester United's Australian winger James Overy and Danish striker Chido Obi-Martin.

Also included are Barcelona's Shane Kluivert, son of Patrick and younger brother of Justin, the superbly named Strasbourg teenager Rayane Messi and Indonesian striker Arkhan Kaka, named after the Brazilian World Cup and Ballon d'Or winner.
The Red Bull system is represented by three players. Joane Gadou left PSG for Red Bull Salzburg after captaining France Under-17s at the European Championship. Viggo Gebel is an attacking midfielder who was born in Leipzig and is a member of RB Leipzig's first team squad at 16 years of age. Kenneth Adejenughure, a striker, is currently parked at Liefering, Salzburg's de facto reserve team.
Rigg's inclusion will be of note to England supporters. The Sunderland youngster turned 17 in June and has already built up a significant degree of Championship experience. He has three goals in 14 league appearances for the Black Cats this season and has attracted the attention of a number of Premier League clubs, most recently Crystal Palace.
