Wayne Rooney has four offers on the table to make a swift return to football after leaving Championship side Plymouth Argyle.
The England and Manchester United legend left Argyle by mutual consent at the end of December with the club bottom of the Championship table.
Plymouth have comfortably the worst defence this season and lost six of their last seven games - three of those by at least four goals - under Rooney to seal his fate.

The 39-year-old stated on The Overlap's Stick to Football that he is eyeing a return to management, though he would likely have to accept a role further down the pyramid.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror report that he has four offers to make a return to football - but not in the managerial hotseat.
It is claimed that Amazon Prime want to recruit him as a pundit for their Champions League fixtures, with the streaming giants electing not to bid for any of the next packages of Premier League fixtures from next season onwards.

But they are said to face strong competition from Sky Sports, TNT Sports and the BBC, who are all keen on recruiting him.
Rooney has worked for all three of those broadcasters before, and covered the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool for Sky last season.
He was also on punditry duty for the FA Cup final between Manchester City and Manchester United for BBC, on the same day he was appointed as Plymouth manager.
Amazon are said to be keen for Rooney to be on their team for City's Champions League play-off round fixture between City and Real Madrid next week, although no deal has been formally agreed.

A move to Sky Sports would give the Manchester United icon the biggest choice of games to work on, though terrestrial broadcaster BBC - who hold rights to the Champions League highlights and the FA Cup - pull in considerably more viewers.
But signing up to Amazon's coverage would not necessarily rule Rooney out from appearing elsewhere.
Gabby Logan, Guy Mowbray and Alan Shearer are heavily involved with Amazon and the BBC, while TNT Sports' Ally McCoist and Eni Aluko - who also cover fixtures for ITV - are regular fixtures on Prime as well.
