Wayne Rooney surprised fans with his selections for the best and worst teammates he played with.
Spending the bulk of his career at Manchester United, where he is the club's record goalscorer, Rooney won five Premier League titles and shared a dressing room with a whole host of world-class players.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Scholes, Carlos Tevez, Ryan Giggs and Dimitar Berbatov are just some of the stars who Rooney linked up with, while he was also colleagues with Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, David Beckham and Harry Kane with the England national team.
But Rooney's favourite teammate was midfielder Darren Fletcher, who joined United as an 11-year-old and went on to make over 300 appearances for the club.

Speaking on the Seven: Rob Burrow podcast with late England rugby legend Rob Burrow in 2023, Rooney explained: "My best team-mate, I'd say Darren Fletcher.
"There were a few - John O'Shea, Wes Brown, Michael Carrick - we were all really close. But Fletch was probably the one. We sat next to each other in the dressing room and shared really good moments on and off the pitch together."
Fletcher left in 2015 and later turned out for West Brom and Stoke City before retiring and returning to United as a coach and then taking up a role as technical director.

He currently serves as a first-team coach, with his twin sons Jack and Tyler both in the United youth academy and tipped for bright futures.
Rooney, meanwhile, also singled out Nani as his most difficult teammate to play with. The four-time Premier League winner could be unplayable on his day but irritated Rooney with his inconsistency.
Rooney added: "My worst team-mate - there are a lot more than you'd probably think! On the pitch, the toughest one was Nani. He was frustrating to play with."
Nani also left United permanently in 2015 but is still playing nearly a decade on, turning out for local side Estrela da Amadora in his native Portugal.
