Erik ten Hag has been dealt a difficult hand following Alejandro Garnacho's request ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Manchester United added a much needed cherry on top of their season on Saturday, denying local rivals Manchester City their second double in succession.
Ten Hag guided United to their worst-ever Premier League finish, as they ended the 38-game season in eighth position making their FA Cup win crucial to securing European football next season.

United couldn't have had two more deserving goalscorers in their 2-1 win at Wembley, as their two teenagers, Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho scored the crucial goals.
Both youngsters have cemented themselves as key starters for United this season but United could be set to lose Garnacho this summer as the club has been put in a difficult position.
According to reports from TNT Sports Argentina, the Argentina national side have requested United allow Garnacho to leave the club ahead of the new season to compete in the Olympic games.

The tournament will run from July 26 to August 11 in Paris. Crucially falling in two weeks of pre-season when United will be readying themselves for a much-improved 2024/25 campaign.
This would potentially see Garnacho only get one week's rest ahead of the Premier League season, with the campaign kicking off on August 17th.
United are unlikely to be getting Garnacho back early either, with Javier Mascherano's side one of the favourites for the gold medal following Brazil's success in 2021.

This is due to the nation hoping to bring an extremely strong squad to the Olympics with the same report claiming Mascherano is already awaiting responses from Chelsea for Enzo Fernandez and Aston Villa for Emi Martinez.
With United suffering majorly with injuries last season, the prospect of having one of their biggest assets have essentially zero rest ahead of such a pivotal season will be nightmare fuel for Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
