Thomas Tuchel has reportedly held a 'secret meeting' with Manchester United minority co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe in Monaco amid doubts over Erik ten Hag's future.
United beat Manchester City 2-1 in the FA Cup final last month - a day after it was reported by The Guardian that Ten Hag would be sacked regardless of the result.
That assessment appears to have been premature, with The Athletic confirming that Ratcliffe and INEOS would hold an end-of-season review before making a final decision on Ten Hag's future.

But despite ending United's season with yet another trophy to add to their cabinet, a decision is still yet to be officially announced - and fans are growing uneasy about the uncertainty.
Sky Sports reported that United chiefs had held talks with Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna over potentially becoming the new manager, although he has since committed to a new long-term contract at Portman Road.
Now, German outlet Bild are claiming that United have also held talks with former Bayern Munich boss Tuchel, who left his role at the Allianz Arena at the end of the season.

The meeting between the pair is said to have been held in Monaco, Ratcliffe's current residence, with talks centring around three current and former Premier League players.
Tuchel is said to have convinced Ratcliffe that he could solve 'sporting problems' surrounding Jadon Sancho - who was exiled from the squad after a public disagreement with Ten Hag before being loaned to Borussia Dortmund - and Mason Mount, although it is unclear why Mount would be mentioned given his injury issues last season.
And the German boss also brought up Antonio Rudiger as a player that he managed to help reach their top performance levels while in charge at Chelsea. Rudiger has since moved to Real Madrid, where he won the Champions League earlier this month.

However, Fabrizio Romano has reported that, since those initial talks, Tuchel has decided that he does not want to become the next Manchester United manager if the opportunity arose.
Romano wrote: "Thomas Tuchel not planning to take Man United job, he wants to take a break not coaching any club this summer.
"Tuchel currently decided not to continue in talks with United after meeting in recent weeks. United, deciding on Erik ten Hag future soon."
