Manchester United is exploring a potential swap deal with Borussia Dortmund that would see outcast winger Jadon Sancho secure a permanent move to the Bundesliga.
Sancho was effectively banished from the United first time by Erik ten Hag at the start of the season following a bust-up over being dropped for United's away match at Arsenal.
Ten Hag publicly criticised Sancho to the press following the match, resulting in a social media post by the Englishman defending himself. With neither side willing to back down Sancho was eventually sent on loan to Dortmund where he is beginning to get back to his best.
With Sancho's United career seemingly over as long as Ten Hag is in charge, there is surely going to have to be some sort of deal for Sancho to completely cut ties at Old Trafford with the club wanting between £40m and £50m for 23-year-old.

Despite the steep asking price Football Insider have reported that the club is also open to a swap deal in order to resolve the situation.
It is understood that Sancho would be open to prolonging his second stint at Signal Iduna Park, and that could open the door to a deal as United are reportedly interested in Donyell Malen.
Malen has emerged as a pivotal figure for Dortmund throughout the 2023-24 season, appearing in 33 matches across all competitions.
During this period, he found the back of the net 13 times and contributed with five assists. Since his transfer from PSV Eindhoven in July 2021, the 25-year-old has been a stalwart for the German club, featuring in a total of 106 games, scoring 32 goals, and providing 19 assists along the way.

The Dutch forward has experience in England during his youth career as he was at the Arsenal academy from 2015-17 before moving back to the Netherlands in pursuit of first-team football.
United are expected to make at least one forward signing this summer with Anthony Martial also expected to depart alongside Sancho.
