
Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson set to make a shock return to management this weekend.
Having won incredible total of 38 trophies with United, Ferguson is regarded by man as the greatest football manager of all time.
The legendary manager spent spent 26 seasons in charge at Old Trafford before calling it quits on his career and retiring from management in 2013 after winning one final trophy.

But, 12 years after retiring, Ferguson has shocked fans after it was announced that he will return to he dugout after accepting a new job this weekend.
Back in 2023, former United, Villarreal, Fiorentina and Italy striker Giuseppe Rossi retired from professional football, but he has decided to host a farewell game in Florence on March 22.
The match will be played at the Stadio Franchi in Florence, and Ferguson, who handed Rossi his senior debut back in 2004, will be present in a coaching capacity.

"Ferguson will be there as a coach," the former United striker said, as per The Sun.
"He was my first coach, I signed when I was 17.
"I only did three years with him and played little, but he immediately said yes and this shows what kind of person he is.
"I did little at United but he treats me like Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored 1000 goals."

Rossi made his debut for United during a League Cup match against Crystal Palace back in November 2004, but made only 14 appearances in total for the Red Devils, scoring four goals.
Following loan spells with both Newcastle United and Serie A side Parma, the striker signed a permanent deal with Villarreal in 2007 and scored 82 goals in 192 appearances.
However, injuries unfortunately held Rossi back when he later joined Fiorentina, scoring 19 goals in just 42 appearances for Italian side before later playing for Levante, Celta Vigo, Genoa, Real Salt Lake and SPAL.

Several other football legends that played a significant role in Rossi's career will feature in his 'last dance' match, with Gabriel Batistuta, Luca Toni, Antonio Cassano, Sebastien Frey and Borja Valero all set to play.
