After Diogo Dalot's strike was parried by goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha, the rebound fell to McTominay, who controlled the ball before finding the bottom corner in the 93rd minute.
The 26-year-old then arrived on queue, leaping highest in a congested six-yard box to win it for United, sending Old Trafford into pure pandemonium.
And after the full-time whistle, a visibly delighted McTominay was filmed absorbing the atmosphere, shouting at the camera: "You can't buy that! Wow! Woo!"

"Love this guy so much," another added.
"One of my favourite players since the Ole era," another chimed in.

"When you are not doing well at this football club, everyone is against you. It feels like we are in our own bubble with the rest of the world saying negative things."
