The first 10 matches of Ruben Amorim's career at Manchester United have been compares to several former managers, and it doesn't look good.
After the 2-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Boxing Day, Amorim officially completed his 10th match in charge of United.
The Portuguese manager was appointed at the start of last month, replacing former manager Erik ten Hag who held the position for over two years.

But after his first ten matches, how does Amorim's record look when compared to that of Ten Hag and several other ex-United managers?
With four wins and one draw, Amorim became the first United manager to lose five of his first 10 games in charge across all competitions since Walter Crickmer in January 1932.
Comparatively, the man that the 39-year-old replaced, Ten Hag, enjoyed a slightly better record with six wins and four losses.

Before Ten Hag, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer boasted an impressive start to his time as United manager, going unbeaten with a record of nine wins and one draw.
As for Jose Mourinho, the legendary manager won seven games from his first 10, losing the other three.
Although it remains early in his tenure at United and, despite his concerns over his future, it remains too early to fully judge Amorim.
But, given that all three of the previous managers had a better start to their time managing United, and all three were hounded out of the club by fans, it is perhaps not a good sign for the new manager's future at Old Trafford.

"I know the business that I'm in," admitted Amorim when addressing the mounting pressure over his position.
"The manager of Manchester United can never, no matter what, be comfortable.
"I know that if we don't win, regardless, if they pay the buyout or not, I know that every manager is in danger. I like that because that is the job, so I understand the question.

"You can argue that I have been here one month and I’ve had four training (sessions), but we are not winning. That is the reality and I'm quite comfortable with that."
