Roy Keane has offered his two cents after Gareth Southgate was linked with the Manchester United job.
Earlier this week, it was reported that United part-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has made the England manager his number one choice to take over at Old Trafford this summer.
Southgate's contract with the Three Lions expires in December and the FA are keen to tie him down to a new deal, but Ratcliffe is growing 'increasingly confident' of being able to lure him to United, according to The Star.

It could cost United £800,000 in compensation to get Southgate, who is one of the favourites to take over ahead of Graham Potter, Ruben Amorim and Thomas Tuchel.
The speculation continues to spark plenty of reaction from fans and players. And now Roy Keane has had his say alongside fellow Stick to Football guest Ian Wright.
Keane was speaking on the Stick to Football podcast – brought to you by Sky Bet – when he gave his thoughts on the rumours.

“I could see that happening [Gareth Southgate being the next Manchester United manager]," he said.
"Well, obviously everyone’s thinking he’s probably going to be with England this summer if he has a good Championship, thinking if they could win it. And if they don’t, then maybe they’re thinking maybe you’ve ran your race with him.
"His connection with Dan Ashworth, who he has worked with previously. Yeah, I’m not that surprised with it.”
Ian Wright, meanwhile, backed Southgate as someone who has the stature to become United manager.

“You know what’s strange about it, is when you listen to Sir Jim Ratcliffe talk, how he admires Arsenal’s patience with Mikel Arteta, which obviously the FA Cup gave him even more time," Wright added.
"It gave me the impression that Sir Jim is going to give Erik ten Hag time. It feels like that because if you are talking about Arteta and patience, and he’s quite admirable about the way he is speaking about it."
