Roy Keane has responded to Erik ten Hag's outburst about pundits, having claimed they attack him to 'make themselves look better'.
Ahead of the FA Cup final, Ten Hag hit out at critics in the British media following the criticism he has received following an underwhelming campaign.
Man United finished in eighth place in the Premier League table, losing a staggering 14 league games this season.
In a defiant interview with Dutch outlet Voetbal International conducted in the last fortnight but released on the morning of the Wembley showpiece, the Red Devils boss said INEOS has 'directly' told him they are planning for him to remain as manager.

He also took aim at pundits, stating they lack 'the capability to analyse something with facts'.
Keane, who was on punditry duty for ITV, was asked about Ten Hag's sensational interview.
The former Man United captain, who won four FA Cups during his legendary spell at the club, said the 54-year-old was 'entitled to his opinion' and argued that victory over Man City would bring plaudits to the manager's reputation from himself and other pundits.
"He’s entitled to his opinion! I think a lot of managers don’t like pundits," he said. "I think he’s OK with me… probably about the lads here', he added, before laughing.

"That’s all part of a manager’s journey, you don’t have to agree with what people say."
Keane added: "Obviously, we’re ex-players, I’m an ex-Man United player, and you look at the standards of where we are... but you’ve got to be critical, you’ve got to be fair.
"I’d love nothing more than for United to turn up here and win today and I’d be happy to give him praise.

"But it’s not been good enough in the last few months and he’s got to take his medicine.
"Still, give the man a chance. He’s here today trying to win United the FA Cup."
