Manchester United star Raphael Varane may have broken a strict club rule while on holiday, it has been claimed.
United players are not back in action until the FA Cup tie against Newport County on 28 January.
The Red Devils have therefore been given a week off by manager Erik ten Hag, with many spending time on holiday with their families.

Varane has opted for a ski resort holiday at a destination that is not yet known and posted a picture on Instagram.
The World Cup winner has been active on his Instagram, sharing a selfie with ski slopes and mountains in the backdrop.
However, The Sun say Varane may have some questions to answer to upon his return from the trip.

It's said that United do not allow players to go skiing while the season is going on as the risk of injury is too high.
Many clubs across Europe adopt the same approach and only last year, Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer suffered a freak accident during the winter break.
Following the World Cup in Qatar, the Germany captain went skiing in Italy and broke his leg while on vacation

He ended up being sidelined for a total of 10 months and returned to training in September before making his comeback after 350 days against Ingolstadt in October.
There are no pictures of Varane on the slopes and a representative of the former Real Madrid man told The Sun he did not participate in any skiing.
Varane signed for United in 2021 in a £34 million deal and is United's top earner on £340,000-a-week.

His contract expires at the end of the season and United are not taking up the automatic extension option in his deal.
The club want to continue discussions over a new contract but on reduced terms, though Varane is now free to speak to clubs abroad about a free transfer.
