The real reason why Marcus Rashford will join Aston Villa this month has been revealed.
After being dropped by new manager Ruben Amorim for the much-anticipated clash with local rivals Manchester City back in December, Rashford has fallen out of favour at United.
The Englishman's last appearance for United was during the Europa League fixture against Viktoria Plzen on December 12, and he has since been heavily inked with a transfer to Premier League rivals Aston Villa.

But now, Rashford's true feelings towards the move have been revealed, as he blames one person for forcing him out of his boyhood club.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Rashford's move to Villa Park is all but confirmed as the 27-year-old has now agreed terms to join the club on a loan deal with a potential option to buy.
Rashford is said to have been attracted by the opportunity to play under Villa boss Unai Emery, as well as representing the club in the Champions League.

However, a United source has told the The Sun that the winger feels that he had no option but to leave Old Trafford this month after new owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe forced him out of the club.
“Marcus thinks Sir Jim wants him out of the club and has basically told head coach Ruben Amorim to get him out. He might just have met his match with Sir Jim," the source revealed.
“Marcus feels like he is being picked on. In the early days of training under Amorim, he was trying to learn new systems and other players were also struggling — but he was the one who was getting more vocal criticism.
“He knows he needs to leave but he’s shocked that no big team has pulled out all the stops to get him," they added.

“Marcus has been left bewildered by how quickly his relationship with Amorim has disintegrated.”
The source also explained what Rashford feels led to the breakdown in his relationship with the new United boss, revealing that the pair clashed after Amorim accused the Englishman going on a night out before the match against Everton on December 1.
“Marcus got called in by Amorim who said he believed he had breached discipline by going out," revealed the source,

“Marcus denied it and was adamant he had done nothing wrong. He asked the manager to show him the proof he’d been out and said something along the lines of, ‘Are you calling me a liar?’
“Their relationship has never recovered, and it’s hard to see how it ever will now.”
