Manchester United are said to have met with the super agent of one Portugal's brightest teenage stars.
Ruben Amorim arrived at the club from Sporting earlier this month tasked with leading United forward after Erik ten Hag's dismissal.
The 39-year-old has since picked up his first win as head coach by overseeing a 3-2 win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League on Thursday.

Much has been made of the changes Amorim is likely to oversee with a 3-4-3 formation and while it has not been an overly convincing start, there have already been clear examples of how he expects his team to play in this new-look system.
But given he is employing a new system, it is expected that Amorim will seek incomings to help suit his style of play.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United have already made inroads regarding a potential first signing.

Sources say representatives from Old Trafford have met with the super agent of teenager star Geovany Quenda.
United have in the past done various dealings with Sporting, with Quenda's agent none other than 'super agent' Jorge Mendes.
Mendes' Gestifute agency is negotiating on behalf of the 17-year-old and a deal could be agreed as early as this summer.
No formal approach has been made but it is thought Amorim would like to bring Quenda to the club on a permanent deal.

PSG are also cited as another interested party but given United's head coach has previously worked with the promising star, there is a growing confidence.
Quenda is currently Sporting's youngest-ever debutant after making his bow in August.
The winger is under contract at Sporting until 2027 and impressed against Manchester City in the 4-1 UEFA Champions League win earlier this month.

“I’ve already said everything I had to say about Quenda,” said Amorim regarding the teenager back in October.
“He’s a very talented kid, very strong physically, very focused, with his feet firmly on the ground. That’s very important for a young player.
"I didn’t know he was the youngest ever to score. Congratulations. I think he has to improve a lot in his finishing.
"The amount of times he comes inside and shoots over the bar, he doesn’t put the ball in the goal well, that’s a detail he has to improve.

“He showed up well there. But that’s what I said at the beginning of the season. He had the opportunity and there was no chance to take him away, to have doubts, nothing.
"I think he’s going to be a great player, but let’s give it time."
