Former Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has been linked with a sensational move away from Napoli after just over six months at the Serie A side.
McTominay, 28, left Manchester United for Antonio Conte’s side in the summer of 2024 in a deal reportedly worth around £27.5m.
And since arriving in Campania he has settled well by registering seven goals and four assists in 28 appearances for the Italian outfit.

In January, Napoli head coach Conte, 55, praised the Scotland international and explained how he had “made a big difference” alongside fellow former United player Romelu Lukaku.
Despite the Naples outfit currently being in the midst of a poor run of just one win in their last seven Serie A matches, they are still in the title race - and currently trail Inter Milan by three points with nine league fixtures remaining.
Napoli supporters will no doubt want to keep hold of McTominay this summer but this may prove difficult as Fichajes claim that the midfielder is attracting interest from Inter with head coach Simone Inzaghi thought to be ‘keen’ on the player.

The outlet suggests that Inter’s interest is ‘strong’ and that they will ‘try to complete a deal’ in the coming months.
It is unclear if McTominay would be willing to move to the Northern Italian side as he is contracted to Napoli until the summer of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, the Scot is valued at around €40m (£33.5m).

The 28-year-old has previously revealed that he "loves" the city and supporters when speaking to BBC Sport in December.

"It was a big decision [to move to Italy], but in some ways it was quite straightforward," McTominay said. "I saw the passionate fans, I saw the coach, I saw the players and I saw an opportunity.
"It didn't take me long to make the decision because I knew that was what I wanted and I'll never have any regrets in my life. I didn't look back.
"I love this place. I love the fans, I love my team-mates.
"It has been a pleasure to be with Billy [Gilmour] every day rather than just seeing him at Scotland and we have helped each other a lot."
