INEOS director of sport Sir Dave Brailsford has issued a HUGE update regarding Manchester United's pursuit of Ruben Amorim.
Brailsford, 60, was asked whether the deal to bring Amorim to the club was done by United fans gathered outside of the stadium following the Red Devils' comprehensive 5-2 victory against Leicester City.
One fan appeared to say: "Is the deal done?"

With Brailsford replying: "Yeah, it's done, it's done."
But there has been no official confirmation from the club as of yet.
Amorim, 39, has been heavily linked with the role since Erik ten Hag parted company with the football club on Monday following the 2-1 defeat away at West Ham on Sunday.

Several names were being circulated on social media with the likes of Edin Terzic, Gareth Southgate and Xavi all mentioned but it appears that United have finally got their man.
Amorim is a proven winner, having guided his Sporting CP side to their first title in 19 years in 2020-21 before securing his second crown last season beating Portuguese giants Benfica and Porto to the league title.
This term, his side have continued their impressive form with nine wins in nine games having conceded just two goals.
The 39-year-old was asked about the potential of joining United after Sporting's 3-1 win over Nacional on Tuesday.

“We have to wait a little bit more to explain what I need to explain, then it will be very clear,” Amorim explained.
“Yes, it is my decision, I will tell everything, we have to wait. I don’t know [how long].”
"Nothing is decided yet. I don't know if it's the farewell game or not," he added.
However, according to Sky Sports, the Portuguese side are still wanting United to pay a £4.15m compensation fee to let Amorim and his three coaches Carlos Fernandes, Adelio Candido and goalkeeping coach Jorge Vital leave immediately.

Sky Sports' Kaveh Solhekol gave update on the current situation on Wednesday evening.
"Sporting aren't going to let Amorim leave without them being respected and without their interests being taken into consideration.
"There's a €10m release clause. United said they'll pay that. But he also has a 30-day notice period in his contract.
"Sporting would want ideally for him to stay for those 30 days. And also, he wants to take three of the coaches from Sporting to Manchester with him. For that, Sporting need to be paid compensation.

"And the compensation they are looking for is €5m, which is around £4m. So from Sporting's point of view, Amorim is going, but they are saying, 'hey, respect us too. We're a big, big club in Europe. We're a big, big club in Portugal. We're not going to just turn around and let Manchester United come into town, take our manager, put him on a private plane and take him to Old Trafford."
"He has a contract," he added.
"Yes, the release clause has been triggered. But there's still this issue of the 30-day notice period. They may be prepared to let him go during the international break that's going to happen next month. Now, if that were the case, that would mean that Amorim would be in charge of Sporting for their Friday night game against Estrela."
