Marcus Rashford has an uncertain future at Manchester United but a former Liverpool player has issued a warning about the prospect of moving to a certain league.
The 27-year-old was sensationally dropped by United boss Ruben Amorim along with Alejandro Garnacho for the Manchester derby over the weekend.
Neither player were in the United matchday squad as the Reds came from behind to beat the Blues 2-1 late on at the Etihad Stadium.

City had taken the lead through Josko Gvardiol's header but Amad won a penalty as full-time neared after being brought down by Matheus Nunes, which Bruno Fernandes coolly converted.
But as the spoils looked to be shared, the Ivorian netted a dramatic late winner after controlling Lisandro Martinez's long pass, expertly rounding Ederson and slotting home from an acute angle to write his name in Manchester derby folklore.
Rashford's United contract runs until 2028, but since the weekend reports have suggested United would consider offers in the region of £40 million for the England international as they opt to cash in on the academy product and move on.

The 27-year-old himself stated that he's 'ready for a new challenge' in a bombshell interview with Henry Winter.
Several clubs have been reportedly put 'on alert' according to talkSPORT about Rashford's availability, and one of these includes Al Ittihad, who is managed by former United defender Laurent Blanc.
But Rashford might want to heed the advice of former Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson before potentially heading to the Saudi Pro League.

Henderson moved to Al Ettifaq from Anfield in the summer of 2023, but left in January 2024 after his deal was terminated, and he subsequently moved to Dutch side Ajax.
And speaking to Dutch outlet Parool earlier this year, Henderson admitted his move to Saudi Arabia was a 'mistake'.
He said: "The Saudi league is developing but it doesn’t suit me, I made a mistake going there. I am happy here at the Ajax project."
Upon joining Ajax, he had also said: "In life, if you wanna call them regrets or mistakes you can, but they're only mistakes if you don't learn from them and I learnt a lot of things about Saudi.

"I haven't got a bad word to say about anyone. I have friends over there I'll speak to forever and there were still positives to come out of it.
"In the end it didn't turn out way we both wanted to, but it ended on great terms."
