Manchester United will target another key position in the January transfer window alongside their pursuit of Lecce wing-back Patrick Dorgu, according to reports.
The Athletic's David Ornstein reported on Monday that United were talks over a deal for Denmark international Dorgu, who is naturally a left wing-back but can also play on the opposite flank.
Dorgu is valued at £42 million and the 20-year-old is an international team-mate of United forward Rasmus Hojlund and midfielder Christian Eriksen.

Should the Red Devils get a deal over the line, he would become the first signing under the management of Ruben Amorim.
But a new report indicates that United will try and complete a second move before the January transfer window slams shut.
The Daily Mail claim that United want to sign a new striker in January to compete with Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.

Zirkzee replaced Hojlund for the 3-1 defeat to Brighton on Sunday and put in impressive cameos during the FA Cup third round win over Arsenal and 3-1 victory over Southampton, but neither player has regularly lit up Old Trafford this season.
It is reported that United have a four-player shortlist for the striker position, with three of those names currently playing in the Premier League.
Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo, Wolves star Matheus Cunha and Ipswich forward - and former Manchester City academy graduate - Liam Delap are said to be on their shortlist, as well as Lille's Jonathan David.

However, Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules will again be a problem for United, with the report adding that they will need to offload a current player to do so.
German outlet BILD reported on Monday that Borussia Dortmund are 'leading the race' to sign the out-of-favour Marcus Rashford on loan this month, and are set to commit over £6 million to paying his salary.
Alejandro Garnacho has also been linked with a move to Serie A leaders Napoli, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claiming that representatives of both clubs will meet to do a deal for the winger, who is believed to be valued at over £80 million, as per the Manchester Evening News - though Sky Sports Italy report they could ask for as low as £55 million.
Antonio Conte's side have recently pocketed a reported fee of around £63 million from the sale of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain, and are looking for a direct replacement before the January window closes.

Speaking in December, Amorim ruled out the prospect of any incoming United transfer activity in January - though that appeared to be based on whether or not the club could offload players.
He told reporters: "We don't have that possibility in January. You know the situation better than I.
"It's not the case that I am arriving here and I can spend a lot of money, changing all the team. You know the situation so it's not a point to talk about it."
