Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is desperate to meet a current Manchester United player and repeat the tactic he used to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo swapped England for Spain in 2009 and joined Madrid from United in a then-world record £80 million transfer.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner became the best player in Los Blancos' illustrious history before departing for Juventus in 2018.

Since then, Madrid have adopted a different transfer strategy. Gone are the days of signing ready-made superstars, with the club instead focusing on younger talent.
They've rebuilt their midfield with the signings of Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouamini, while Endrick will join their attack this summer.
Per Spanish outlet Real Madrid Exclusivo, Perez is now looking to force a move through for United winger Alejandro Garnacho.

The 19-year-old has been a bright spark for Erik ten Hag's side this season, being one of his most-used players.
Garnacho has scored seven goals and registered four assists and Real have been watching him over the last 12 months.
Perez will be in Manchester next month for Real's Champions League quarter-final clash with Manchester City.

He's allegedly keen to meet with Garnacho while he is in England and sound the Argentina international out over a potential move.
The teenager is a big fan of Ronaldo, who he played with during the Portgual icon's second stint in England.
Garnacho played all 120 minutes of United's dramatic 4-3 victory over Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday.
He assisted Amad's last-minute winner and Match of the Day pundit Theo Walcott praised his performance.

Former Arsenal winger Walcott talked up Garnacho's pace on the counter and composure to pick out Amad.
"He seems to be getting faster and faster," Walcott remarked.
"The pass he delays it, delays it, and of course, Amad, fantastic finish.

"Look at him, you can see he’s got sort of, the veins of a Manchester United sort of player, a beautiful player to see."
United will now face Championship outfit Coventry City for a chance to reach their second successive FA Cup final.
