Manchester United fans are furious at the prospect of one alleged candidate taking over from Erik ten Hag as manager.
Ten Hag's Old Trafford future is looking more precarious with each passing week, after a topsy-turvy campaign blighted by injury and poor form.
While it has been widely reported that United are yet to make a decision on the future of the Dutchman, who could still win the FA Cup this year, several names are being touted as alternatives.

And the Telegraph have alleged that Brentford manager Thomas Frank is a "strong contender" for the United job should they opt to change managers.
The Dane has an existing relationship with co-owners INEOS and previously linked up with the company's director of sport Sir Dave Brailsford before investment in United.
But United fans on social media are not enthused by the prospect of Frank taking over at Old Trafford, while several joked about the number of candidates to have been linked to the job in recent weeks.

One person said on X, formally Twitter: "We are not leaving the trenches anytime soon."
A second said: "I have more chance of being Man Utd manager than Thomas Frank."
Another added: "Stop it. 44 managers linked to United in the space of 2 weeks."

A fourth wrote: "I so much appreciate what Frank is doing with Brentford. But at this point, I would stop believing any reports on ‘Man United’s new manager’"
Frank has taken Brentford into the Premier League and overseen three seasons of mid-table football, including a ninth-placed finish.
As per the Telegraph report, the Dane would fit into United's new structure following INEOS owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe's arrival at the club.
They are said to want a head coach to focus solely on the team, with incoming sporting director Dan Ashworth and technical director Jason Wilcox overseeing other departments such as recruitment.
