Karim Benzema has been “warned” by Cristiano Ronaldo of what it is like to work with Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
According to Javier Parra Pena, United are exploring a six-month loan deal for Benzema, after a middling spell in Saudi Arabia.
Benzema has netted 15 goals in 24 appearances for Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad since calling time on his career at Real Madrid.

And recent reports claim the player is set to move back to Europe, with United keeping tabs on the situation in January.
Benzema was linked to a move to Old Trafford back in 2009 before the striker joined Real Madrid, going on to score 354 goals in 648 games.
While the Frenchman may be convinced by the merits of a United switch, he may take stock in former Real team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo’s take on Ten Hag.
Speaking of the Dutchman back in November 2022, Ronaldo claimed he "doesn't respect" Ten Hag and that the manager tried to force him out in the summer.

"I don't have respect for him [Ten Hag] because he doesn't show respect for me," Ronaldo said on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
"If you don't have respect for me, I'm never gonna have respect for you."
The Portugal international also insisted it was United and Ten Hag who pushed him toward the exit.
"Manchester United tried to force me out," he said.

"Not only the manager but the other two or three guys who are around the club [at the senior executive level]. I felt betrayed. I don't care, people should listen to the truth. Yes, I felt betrayed. I feel that some people didn't want me here, not only this year but last season too."
Ten Hag currently has Rasmus Hojlund and Anthony Martial at his disposal, with the former having netted just two Premier League goals and the latter strongly linked with a move away.
