Manchester United are reportedly set to trigger an extension clause in two of their players' contracts.
United regularly add the option for a one-year extension in a number of their key deals and it's poised to continue with two of their current stars.
As it stands, the Red Devils have six players who are scheduled to be out of contract in the summer.

According to Rich Fay from Manchester World, Victor Lindelof, Jonny Evans, Tom Heaton and Christian Eriksen, who has already been speaking about his future, all look set to move on.
Should no fresh contract offer arrive, they are therefore set to depart as free agents and are able to speak to clubs abroad starting in January.
However, the situation involving two other players approaching free agency is slightly different.

Both Harry Maguire and Amad Diallo's deals are due to expire on 30 June 2025.
But United have the option to activate a one-year extension inserted in their contracts, keeping them at Old Trafford until 2026.
The reports claims United are expected to do so instead of losing the duo for nothing.
In fact, with Diallo becoming a regular in the first-team, there is a plan to offer him a longer deal.

He is still only 22 and signed for the club in 2021 from Serie A side Atalanta.
In Maguire's case, his extension will likely be so United can still sell him for a fee in the summer.
The club know they would be making a significant loss on the £80 million they paid to sign him in 2019 but are wary of losing out on a transfer fee altogether.

Meanwhile, it's claimed that United have a buy-back clause which enables them to re-sign Alvaro Fernandez Carreras.
The left-back was sold to Benfica in the summer and has played nine times.
There is reported interest from Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona, though United can bring him back for just £16.7 million.
