Manchester United fans have been left stunned after finding out Bruno Fernandes has a brother who also plays in England while working a second job.
Fernandes has been with United for five years now after signing from Sporting CP and racked up 262 appearances, scoring 86 goals and winning both the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
But while he is United's captain, there is also another Portuguese midfielder called Fernandes who wears an armband while playing for an English side.

Fernandes' brother Ricardo may not enjoy the dizzying heights of the Premier League but does love playing in the Southern Combination Football League Premier Division with Roffey FC.
Ricardo, who is five years older and looks near-identical to his sibling, plays in central midfield for the West Sussex outfit, who are second in their league after 23 games.
The 34-year-old, who has been captain of his team since 2023 and helped them achieve promotion last season, also works for the NHS.

“We’ve got different lives. Bruno’s a professional footballer and I work for the NHS," Ricardo told FourFourTwo last year.
"When I was young, my friends and close family probably thought I was the brother who was going to make it, but I didn’t and he did."
Plenty of fans were not aware of the elder Fernandes also being a footballer and reacted with comments on Reddit.

One said: "He’s captain too it runs in the family."
A second commented: "Fair play. Working a demanding job within the NHS as well when it's likely he doesn't really need to but has chosen to."
A third added: "Hard work runs in the genes."
A fourth user posted: "One of Bruno’s brothers works at my local hospital."
Taunted about his brother during games
Bruno is a passionate and animated character on the pitch and with a number of fans not liking him, it's led to players using him to try and get in the head of his brother whenever he steps onto the pitch.

"Oh, yes, that happens," he admitted.
"I’m not saying every game, but most games,
"I don’t mind people coming up to me and speaking about my brother. I’m glad Bruno is known around the world. Manchester United was a big step for him.
"You hear the criticism and sometimes it affects you. It’s tempting to comment, but you have to leave it.”
