Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho has responded after a compilation of his season so far was posted on social media.
Garnacho's role at Old Trafford has been a hot topic of conversation in recent weeks. After netting in their Community Shield defeat to Manchester City, he laid on the assist for Joshua Zirkzee's winner against Fulham.
The Argentine was one of United's standout performers last season. In fact, he was the only Premier League teenager to reach a combined total of 15 goals and assists in 2023/24 after playing regular first-team football.

But so far, he has played a bit-part role for Erik ten Hag's side this season. He's played in all three league games but has started just one, which was their recent 3-0 defeat to Liverpool.
After the sobering result against Arne Slot's side, a compilation of Garnacho's season so far emerged online – and the latter responded with a message of his own.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, he hit back, saying: "Wasting your time making clips for me. Your life so far [crying face emoji, fire emoji]."

Garnacho deleted his reply a short time later, after the creator of the video told him to focus on his first touch and dribbling.
Last month, a reporter asked Erik ten Hag whether Garnacho was "world-class" but the Dutchman was keen to temper expectations.
"You have gone very quickly," he said. "World-class is something where he has to go a long way. He has a high potential, 100 per cent. But last season he contributed and he can be a starting-XI player."
Ten Hag added: "To make that jump to being a world-class player, he has a long way to go. It starts with hard work.

"That has brought him to where he is now and that will bring him to being a world-class player because I agree he has the potential."
Garnacho still has plenty of admirers, including Sir Alex Ferguson, who was full of praise for the Argentine, as well as fellow academy product Kobbie Mainoo, earlier this summer.
Speaking recently to TikTok user Jamal Niaz, Ferguson was asked about the impact both Garnacho and Mainoo have had since their emergence.

“It’s the foundation isn’t it? It’s the heart and soul of what Manchester United has been since the days of Sir Matt Busby, who started the whole process of trusting young players playing," he said.
“They’re young. What they’re showing at the moment, the composure and confidence to play in the first-team, and not be daunted by it.”
Ferguson added: “In a way, it shows you the kind of courage they have. It’s a distinction in human beings, some have the will to be that [fearless at a young age].”
