Jamie Carragher has named the two players which Ruben Amorim and Manchester United should be looking to sell if they are to find a winning formula.
The Red Devils brought in the Portuguese coach as a replacement for Erik ten Hag in November and he has experienced a mixed start to life at Old Trafford, with three wins, one draw and two losses.
United are currently 13th in the Premier League table after 15 games and Amorim is already well aware of just how far the team is from challenging at the top end of the Premier League once again.

It's been over a decade since their last Premier League triumph under the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson and although United spent around £200 million on new recruits in the summer, it's clear that their squad still needs a massive reshuffle.
And after reports that United are willing to consider offers of around £40 million for Marcus Rashford, Carragher has called for United to offload their No.10 as a way of trimming their high wage bill.
The Liverpool legend does not see United winning major trophies with Rashford as the focal point of their attack and given he would be a pure profit deal on the PSR balance sheet, believes a sale should be sanctioned.

“Given how many signings have dropped in value since joining United, it does not surprise me that big names such as Marcus Rashford are being linked with a move," he wrote in his column for The Telegraph.
“United should sell him as he is not delivering value for his lucrative contract. Eleven goals in his 48 league appearances over the past 18 months is not good enough.
“There has been too much of a pantomime around Rashford for the last few seasons, the promise he showed when breaking into the side not realised. He is 27 now and should be in his prime.
“In a front three, Rashford is the third attacker. United will never win the Premier League or Champions League if he is leading the line.”

But Carragher also has a similar stance on captain Bruno Fernandes. The Portugal international has been one of United's best bits of business in recent years with the goals and assists he has provided, but Carragher sees him as an easy player to sell as he is now 30 and would command a decent fee.
“A dilemma also looms with Bruno Fernandes,” Carragher added.
“Unlike Rashford, Fernandes has been one of United’s best players during a tough period and would have shone with more quality around him during his Old Trafford career.

“But he is 30 now and there may be value in offloading him to raise funds. Amorim may see it differently and believe a few more years of Fernandes alongside shrewd additions will serve the team better.
"Selling must be a consideration, however, because Fernandes is one of the few players who can attract a significant fee if profitability and sustainability rules are an issue.”
United return to action on Sunday when they make the short trip to the Etihad Stadium to take on rivals Manchester City in a huge derby clash.
