Manchester United fans’ celebration for Marcus Rashford’s goal against Everton has been mocked by rival supporters.
On Saturday afternoon, United welcomed relegation-threatened Everton to Old Trafford as they looked to bounce back from their Manchester Derby defeat last weekend.
United went ahead after 12 minutes thanks to a penalty from Bruno Fernandes before Rashford added a second, also from 12 yards, in the 36th minute.
After TNT Sports posted a video of the Rashford goal, fans were quick to react to the lack of celebration in the stands.

On social media, one fan said: “F**k me.. did they know it was a penalty behind the goal? I’ve celebrated more for a corner!!”
Another tweeted: “The limbs on this goal… hope everyone is ok.”
A third fan added: “The fans need to calm down there. Somebody will get hurt.”
Someone else wrote: “The fans behind the goal were aware the ball went in weren’t they?”

A fifth commented: “Absolute limbs.”
United held on to win 2-0 and closed the gap to Tottenham Hotspur to just three points, however, Spurs have two matches in hand.

Speaking after the match, United captain Fernandes said: “Obviously we know we have to win every game that we have ahead. We know our position in the league and it's not enough for us. We want to try and get into the spots for the Champions League. We know it's going to be tough and difficult but we have to win these games.
“We have to win every game. We didn't win against Fulham. That was not good enough. Then we go away to City and we don't win two games in a row. It gets tough. Aston Villa is doing really well, in moments Tottenham are being really good. It will be more difficult for us than them but we have to push.”
United are back in action next weekend when they host Liverpool in the quarter-final of the FA Cup.
