Jesse Lingard has hit back at a fan who accused him, Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba of "destroying the culture" at Manchester United during their time at Old Trafford.
The 32-year-old midfielder, who spent 22 years at United before leaving for Nottingham Forest in 2022, currently plays in South Korea's top flight for K League 1 side FC Seoul.
He has previously opened up on his Old Trafford exit in a candid interview with SPORTbible as he discussed "wanting a different challenge" following a two-decade long spell in Manchester.

And on Wednesday afternoon, Lingard brought up his time at United again, when one fan accused the former England international of "destroying the culture" at United.
The tweet, posted in December last year, read: "Him, Pogba and Rashford destroyed the culture even Rooney admitted. He was let have his own culture with those other 2 vultures after Sir Alex left."
More than six weeks later and Lingard has taken to X, formerly Twitter, to respond to the supporter, who was replying to a video of Lingard scoring against Newcastle in 2016.

He wrote: "Please explain how me paul and Marcus destroyed Manchester United’s culture?" before adding: "Waiting for explanation???????"
Another fan replied to Lingard's comment, saying: "You made us play well which some dumb b****** that “support” this club don’t like because you dance and have fun..."
The midfielder responded by writing: "Lool we was just enjoying our life of we played for biggest club in the world of course we made mistakes and we learn but we gonna have fun and smile and dance."

Back in late 2022, Lingard admitted that he left United because of too many broken promises surrounding time spent on the pitch.
“It was game time," he said when asked for the main reason behind his departure. "It's always going to be difficult playing at United but the lack of game time was the main thing. I just wanted to play football and that was the main aim. There was no point in staying there if I wasn't going to play."
He added: "I wanted to go to a new team, play regularly and be happy on the pitch.”
