Jamie Carragher destroyed Manchester United’s defending under Erik ten Hag for five minutes during Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.
On Saturday afternoon, United were beaten by Fulham in dramatic fashion at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils equaliser in the 89th minute only for Alex Iwobi to strike the winner deep into stoppage time to seal a 2-1 win for Marco Silva’s side.
On Monday night, ahead of West Ham United against Brentford, Carragher was joined by former Manchester City and Arsenal defender Gael Clichy for Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.

Carragher was heavily critical of United’s defending during the Fulham defeat.
The former Liverpool man questioned what instructions were given to the players as he analysed a clip from the kick-off involving young midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.
Carragher then said: “We go to the reason why they’re poor defensively and can’t cope with counterattacks.
“They’ve got no pace at the back and they have a lack of legs in midfield. Another big problem for them is when they’ve got the ball.”

Carragher went on to analyse different players’ positions, saying: “These players can’t receive the ball in the positions they take up so actually there is a massive problem for Manchester United when they’ve got the ball.
“How many times have we seen Manchester United players having to run 40 yards back towards their own goal?”
Clichy added: “The compactness of Manchester United is off, a simple pass will eliminate maybe six players of United and what you see is a four against three.”

Carragher then said: “The most important thing in defending is being compact, it will not go out of style.”
After the match, Ten Hag said: “The team showed big character to fight back, we deserved the equaliser and went for the win - we showed big personality and character”.
“You have to see the bigger picture. The bigger picture looks very good”
