Graham Potter has already picked out four Manchester United players that he rates amid rumours that he could replace Erik ten Hag.
Dutchman Ten Hag is under increasing pressure to turn United’s fortunes around after yet another poor start to the season.
The Red Devils currently sit sixth in the Premier League table but their Champions League dream turned into a nightmare after they were dumped out of Europe altogether on the back of a 1-0 defeat against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

With a tough away match at Anfield against league leaders Liverpool on the horizon, the pressure is well and truly on Ten Hag to deliver.
Over the last few weeks, former Chelsea and Brighton boss Potter has been linked with replacing Ten Hag at United.
It has been claimed that Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is set to complete a minority stake at United, is a big fan of Potter and would be interested in bringing him in if he decides to sack Ten Hag.

Back when he was the Chelsea manager, Potter praised four United players.
He told reporters: “They’ve done well. Obviously not a great start from their perspective but they’ve battled back and they’re playing well and getting points. It’s going to be a tough game.
“They’ve changed a little bit in how they build up, I think, a bit more longer balls, I would say. A little bit more direct. At the same time, they still have the same quality.”

Potter continued: “They’ve got the threats of Rashford, Antony, Sancho and Bruno Fernandes plays a key role for them so there’s a lot of similarities and they have adapted to the competition and to each other.
“It’s a normal process. I’d been at Brighton for three years and Erik had been at United for six weeks if that. Because he has the quality, naturally they’ll get better and better. Manchester United are Manchester United and they’re galvanising into an impressive team.”
