Fenerbahçe have submitted an official bid for Manchester United midfielder Fred, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Fred, 30, has been heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford as Erik ten Hag clears the path for Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat.
And Fred is part of the cohort who could be shown the exit door, along with midfield partner Scott McTominay and former captain Harry Maguire.

Indeed, transfer expert Romano previously confirmed that Fred would 'definitely' leave the club this summer, with Fenerbahçe's rivals Galatasaray also interested in the Brazilian. But Fenerbahçe have since jumped ahead in the race for his signature, having tabled a bid of €15m (£13m).
Romano tweeted on Thursday: "Fenerbahçe have submitted an official bid to Manchester United for Fred, clubs sources confirm.
"Understand proposal worth €15m total package, add-ons included.
"Negotiations ongoing on both club and player side, Fener [Fenerbahçe] trying to complete this top signing soon."

After the FA Cup final last month, Fred conceded he could have played his final game for the club. "I still don't know," he said regarding his future. "I have to talk with my family."
He added: "I still have one year left on my contract here. Now it's holiday time and a good opportunity to rest. I'll talk to my staff, to the club, and see what everyone's decision is.
"I do have to talk with [Erik] ten Hag as well; he's the manager and the conversation has to involve everyone. We have to see how next season will play out.
"I want to be important; I want to help the team, so we'll see. But I've always been and still am very happy at Manchester United."
