Erik ten Hag is under increasing pressure at Manchester United and a potential replacement would cost the club nothing.
Ten Hag had a decent first season in charge after winning the Carabao Cup and securing a place in the Champions League.
Heading into the 23/24 campaign, it was expected that United would challenge the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal after a summer of big spending.

However, the Old Trafford club have so far struggled after collecting just 15 points from their opening 10 league matches.
After Wednesday night’s defeat against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup, the pressure is now firmly on Ten Hag to deliver better results.
In recent days, the odds of Ten Hag being dismissed have been slashed with a list of potential candidates priced.

One of the favourites to replace Ten Hag is Graham Potter, who is currently unemployed after being sacked by Chelsea in April.
Potter is one of the favourites due to the fact that British billionaire and INEOS boss Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s imminent investment in United.
Back in May, it was reported that Ratcliffe was targeting Potter for the managerial role at French Ligue 1 side Nice.
Since leaving Chelsea, Potter has been linked with Leicester and international side Sweden.

According to The Mirror, if United do decide to part ways with Ten Hag, it could cost them £15 million.
Speaking after the defeat against Newcastle, Ten Hag said: “We know this is not good enough. We have to take responsibility for it, I have to take responsibility for it. We don't give the performance, so I feel sorry for the fans. It is below our standards and we have to put it right.
“We have to recover from it but we have to quickly recover - Saturday is the next game (against Fulham), and we have to raise our standards. This is not good enough.”
