Erik ten Hag’s recent comments about Pep Guardiola have caused quite a stir.
Last season, Dutchman Ten Hag was under immense pressure after Manchester United’s horrible performances in the Premier League and Champions League.
The Red Devils were knocked out of the Champions League after finishing bottom of their group behind Bayern Munich, FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray.
In the Premier League, their poor form resulted in a disappointing eighth-place finish.

However, United did manage to end their campaign on a high after beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final to clinch his second trophy in English football.
As a result, it was decided that Ten Hag was the right man to lead the club forward.
Speaking recently, the former Ajax manager pointed out that only Guardiola has won more trophies than him in recent times.
He told The Times: “Of course [I feel stronger after winning the FA Cup]. This club didn’t win trophies, before I came, for six years.

“In two years, after Guardiola, we won the most trophies in English football. So we are in a strong position.”
Ten Hag added: “Look, we can beat every opponent. Not one time, more than one time against City and also against Liverpool. But the truth is that there is a long way to go and we have to be more consistent and we need to create a winning culture.
“It’s not only a dressing room winning culture, higher standards should be delivered across the whole club.”

Another tweeted: “He’s started again. Mr “eras come to an end.”
A third fan added: “He's been talkative since that FA Cup final.”
Someone else wrote: “Hahhahaha he’s a joker this guy.”
