Cristiano Ronaldo could link up with one of his former teammates after he reportedly told Al-Nassr to sign him.
Ronaldo , 39, is currently plying his trade in the Saudi Pro League having left United in December 2023 after a breakdown in his relationship with then-manager Erik ten Hag.
Like several other legends such as Karim Benzema and Roberto Firmino, he has settled in the Gulf State and recently explained how he felt it was “more competitive” than the “French League”.

The Portuguese’s side currently sit fourth in the division after 17 matches but trail joint-leaders Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad by eight points.
As a result, the club may look to bolster their ranks before the deadline on January 31. And Ronaldo has reportedly told the club to sign one of his former teammates.
According to the Daily Star, Ronaldo has “told Al-Nassr to raid United for Casemiro” before the conclusion of the winter window.

The report suggests that Ronaldo feels that landing the midfielder would further raise the profile of the league and could work for both parties as United would be keen to get his reported £350,000 per week salary off the wage bill.
Of course, the pair have played together 127 times across spells at Real Madrid and most recently Manchester United.
Casemiro, 32, has been linked with a potential move from away the Red Devils for some time and is seemingly out of favour with United boss Ruben Amorim, having played just 14 Premier League games this term.

On Tuesday morning it was also claimed that Serie A outfit Roma have asked for “more information” about the Brazilian.
An update on Casemiro’s future emerged on Sky Sports’ social media on Tuesday.
"Roma have asked for information about Manchester United’s Casemiro, according to Sky in Italy,” read the post. "They are doing due diligence in the event that they need to find a replacement for Leandro Paredes."
Casemiro’s current United contract is set to run until the end of the 2025/26 season, so a deal could make sense now with United likely to recoup at least some of the £60m fee they paid for him back in August 2022.
