The Manchester United squad were "disgusted" with the club’s treatment of Cristiano Ronaldo, Alan Brazil has claimed.
Ronaldo left United by mutual consent last November after conducting a tell-all interview with Piers Morgan in which the five-time Ballon d’Or winner was particularly scathing of Ten Hag and controversial owners, the Glazers.
The Portugal star subsequently signed a pioneering contract with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr where, at 38, he continues to rack up goals and provide assists for his teammates.

Ronaldo’s Old Trafford departure caused much controversy at the time, and TalkSPORT pundit and former United and Tottenham forward Brazil claimed that players were “disgusted” with Ronaldo’s treatment at the time.
Brazil said: “I was hearing, and you have to be careful what you report on - this is only what I heard from a United player who [spoke to] someone I know very well. He said the players are not having the manager - definitely not.
“By all accounts, they were disgusted by the way they treated Cristiano Ronaldo and they say [Jadon] Sancho’s a great guy. He works his socks off.”
Brazil reiterated: “He said the players are not having him. Not having him.”

On Saturday Scott McTominay scored a stoppage-time brace to see United come from behind to record a sensational 2-1 Premier League victory against Brentford at Old Trafford.
Before the Scotland international’s heroics, United were staring at a third successive home league loss for the first time since 1979, and three home defeats in a week against opposition observers would expect them to beat relatively comfortably.
Ten Hag’s men have struggled on the pitch this season, while it has also been a tumultuous time away from the field.

There continues to be uncertainty regarding the Glazers’ future at the club, while the club’s hierarchy was the subject of intense criticism before deciding Mason Greenwood’s long-term future resided elsewhere.
Furthermore, Ten Hag has been embroiled in a public feud with Sancho, with the England international tipped to leave in the January window.
