Fans are making the same point after Casemiro's latest Instagram post, it speaks volumes

Manchester United fans have noticed one strange thing about the post.

Manchester United fans have taken to social media to react to Casemiro's latest Instagram post, and they've all noticed the same thing.

After a difficult start to the 2024/25 season, interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy appears to have gotten things back on track, winning three of his four games in charge, and drawing the other.

Despite this, it was confirmed that the former United striker would be leaving his role as assistant manager on Monday, with new manager Ruben Amorim taking over in the dugout.

Following the announcement, United midfielder Casemiro thanked the Dutchman for his work at the club, and fans have noticed one specific thing about the post.

Posting a photo of Van Nistelrooy hugging him on the sidelines of a match, Casemiro wrote on Instagram: "Forever grateful. Legend."

While United fans noted that the post shows the positive impact that Van Nistelrooy had on the club during his short return, many also pointed out that Casemiro did not make a post on social media thanking Ten Hag after he left the club last month.

Reacting to Casemiro's post on social media, one fan wrote: "He didn’t wish Ten Hag but wished Ruud.

"Yeah these guys sacked the manager tbh."

Another added: "4 games = farewell message and Ten hag didn't get anything."

While one wrote: "Crazy how he didn't do that for Ten hag but still this lovely will miss Ruud."

And one suggested: "ETH nothing for him, the players might not like the way he treated CR7 but they can’t say it out, he lost it from they I think."

Following the United's Premier League loss to West Ham United, the club confirmed that they had sacked manager Erik ten Hag after over two years in charge of the club.

The Dutch manager oversaw the club's signing of Casemiro from Real Madrid for a reported fee of £60m, plus an additional £10m in add-ons during the summer of 2022.

Casemiro made 95 appearances for United while Ten Hag was in charge, but struggled to find consistent form.

Under Van Nistelrooy, the Brazilian midfielder started in all of the four matches that the ex-United player spent as interim manager.
