The future of Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has taken a huge twist thanks to Thomas Tuchel.
This week, the Portuguese’s future was plunged into doubt after it was reported that clubs in Saudi Arabia are planning moves for four Premier League stars, including Fernandes, Casemiro, Alisson Becker and Ederson.
On Wednesday, it was claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo had urged Al Nassr to sign Fernandes from the Old Trafford club this summer.
According to a report by Caught Offside, Fernandes could leave United for German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

German journalist Christian Falk told the publication: “In fact, the current coaching team likes this player, especially his character as well as his style of play.
“The bosses, on the other hand, are wondering where Fernandes should play in the current team. This question is likely to lead to internal discussions if Tuchel stays at FC Bayern.”
There were reports in recent weeks that Bayern are considering continuing with Tuchel as manager.
However, the man himself revealed on Friday that he will leave the Bavarian club after this campaign.

He said: “This is my last press conference at Säbener Straße.
“There were talks, but we didn't reach an agreement, so the decision of February still stands.”
This could be good news for United fans as a move to Bayern for Fernandes could now be on the back burner after Tuchel’s decision.

Back in October, Fernandes spoke about how he felt playing alongside Ronaldo.
He said: “Do I have the notion that I'm playing alongside a history maker? No, I don't have a notion, I have the certainty! We're all aware of it.
“We all understand the force and impact that Ronaldo has, the force and the impact that Ronaldo has had on the future of many of us Portuguese players, the opportunities that he's created for the future generations of players, the way others began to look at Portugal.”
Fernandes added: “They already had started looking at us with more respect, but everything that Ronaldo achieved meant our name was more feared, and obviously we are grateful to have lived in this era, because it was a privilege for us to watch Cristiano play and at the same time I had the chance to play alongside him.”
