The number of games Anthony Martial has missed since signing for Manchester United has now been revealed following the news he has undergone groin surgery.
The 28-year-old forward was signed by United from Monaco back in 2015 for around £51m at the time.
Just a few days after arriving in England, Martial was handed his Premier League debut by Louis van Gaal. He was substituted on against Liverpool before scoring the third goal during a 3-1 victory at Old Trafford.

Despite the electric start from the Frenchman, he has failed to live up to the lofty expectations both the club and fanbase had for him at the time of his arrival. Across his 317 appearances for the Red Devils, Martial has just 90 goals to his name with both injuries and a lack of form plaguing his time at the club.
Martial has now entered the final six-months of his deal at United and with the club turning down the opportunity to trigger a one-year extension to his current contract, with the player now set to leave at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
He has struggled with injuries throughout his time at Old Trafford and is now set to miss another 10 weeks after undergoing surgery on a groin problem, according to The Athletic.

According to the website, Martial has missed a total of 83 games for United since arriving in 2015, with a torn knee ligament during the 2014/15 season being his most lengthy absence (14 games). Other listed issues include Achilles tendon irritation (five games), hamstring strain (nine games) and a groin strain (six games).
Martial currently hasn't featured for Erik ten Hag's side since the 3-0 loss to Bournemouth in December.

United are currently leaning on the talents of Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund up front. But the pair are struggling with just six Premier League goals between them across their 36 appearances.
