Greek media have made their feelings clear on Anthony Martial after just five games at his new club AEK Athens.
Martial left Manchester United at the end of the 2023/24 season after his contract was not renewed and signed a three-year deal with Greek giants AEK.
The Frenchman took the No.26 shirt and didn't immediately get a run in the side after going around 10 months without a competitive appearance for United

He made his debut against PAOK in October, coming off the bench and making a 16-minute cameo. On that occasion, a journalist in Greece branded his first appearance "colourless and tasteless".
But it seems as though some sections of the media have slightly changed their tune on Martial. Gazzetta say that although the former Monaco and Lyon forward hasn't fully exploded into life just yet, Martial "has presented us with some first samples of his undeniable footballing quality".
Martial has made five appearances and played on the left wing under Matias Almeyda, scoring his first goal in a cup win over Aris before providing what is described as a "terrific" assist in his most recent appearance - a 3-0 win over Asteras on 9 November before the international break.

The outlet continued: "From his body language, but also from his statements, he shows that he is completely satisfied with what he found at AEK and with the atmosphere he experiences at home games at OPAP Arena. And the more he raises the levels of his readiness and knows better the game of his teammates, the more his offer will be seen with... the naked eye."
Meanwhile, Sport 24 also weighed in on Martial's performance against Asteras and highlighted how he made "the big difference in the creation part".
Martial had 61 actions with the ball, including seven key passes and three big chances created - which are both records in this season's Greek Super League.

Writer Thomas Tsouvaras said it was a "creative 90 minutes" for Martial, who will be hoping to kick on and continue in the same vein.
AEK return to action on Sunday when they travel to Olympiacos for a huge clash as second meets third.
