Andre Onana says he let his team down in an candid interview following Manchester United's crushing defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Onana, who joined the club from Inter Milan for £47.2 million during the summer transfer window, made a huge error in his side's 4-3 loss at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday.
He failed to stop Leroy Sane's long-range strike as the German side took the lead.

The Cameroonian keeper went onto concede three more goals as Man United open their Champions League campaign with a defeat.
But, to his credit, he fronted up and spoke to TNT Sports following the result. He even requested an interview with CBS Sports to explain what happened.
Speaking to TNT Sports, he took full responsibility in a brutally honest post-match interview.
"After my mistake we lost control of the game - I'm the one who let the team down," he said.

"The team was good, we didn’t win this game because of me."
Onana added: "My start in Manchester is not so good. Today is one of my worst games. It was a big opportunity for us to bounce back from the pressure we’re facing, but it’s tough. We have to be together."
Rio Ferdinand praised Onana's character for speaking out following his error.
"I respect that," he said. "I've lost games and made mistakes and refused to speak to the media at times. That showed good character and showed he's made of the right stuff."
On CBS Sports, Peter Schmeichel revealed: "Andre Onana has actually asked to speak to us... He wants to explain what happened."

Onana has now conceded 10 goals in his last three games across all competitions, having let in a combined six goals against Arsenal and Brighton.
The Red Devils, meanwhile, return to action on Saturday when they resume their league campaign at Burnley.
