Last week saw a major development in the Kylian Mbappe saga, as the French attacker informed Paris Saint-Germain of his intention to leave the club at the end of the season.
Mbappe looked set to join Real Madrid in 2022 but performed a U-turn and signed a new contract with the Ligue 1 champions.

However, two years one the 25-year-old has decided to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.
Mbappe has been heavily linked with Real Madrid, with some publications in Spain claiming that the World Cup winner has already agreed terms with the Spanish giants.
However, Champions League holders Man City are reportedly plotting an audacious swoop for Mbappe right under Madrid's noses.

PSG are yet to confirm that Mbappe will leave the club this summer, and the striker came off the bench to score in a 2-0 win against Nantes in Ligue 1 on Saturday.
City's reported interest in Mbappe could be a sign that they are preparing for Real Madrid to redouble their efforts to sign Erling Haaland.
City beat Los Blancos to the signature of the Norwegian striker in 2022, but he is believed to harbour ambitions of one day playing for the Spanish club.
A £150 million release clause in Haaland's City contract - valid until 2027 - was reportedly removed last year.
