A Manchester City star has signed a new contract with the club and tripled his wages.
Pep Guardiola's side have had a strangle-hold over the Premier League in recent years, winning five out of the last six titles while playing some of the best football the league has ever seen.
Last season saw City finally convert their domination into Champions League success when they beat Inter Milan in the final to win the competition for the first time.

City haven't quite hit their stride this term, and will have to win a three-way title race involving Liverpool and Arsenal if they are to win the league for a fourth consecutive year.
History suggests that City aren't going to drop from their perch at the top of English football anytime soon.
An underrated part of maintaining success is the ability of clubs to refresh their squads and prevent things from going stale.

City have proven to be extremely good at this.
Despite losing the likes of Ilkay Gundogan, Riyad Mahrez and Aymeric Laporte last summer, Guardiola's side are well-positioned to retain their treble.
One of the players that has benefitted from the departure is winger Oscar Bobb.
The 20-year-old has impressed since stepping up to the first team last season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in 16 outings.

On Monday, City announced that Bobb has signed a three-year contract extension to keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2029.
According to tv2sport journalist Arilas Ould-Saada, Bobb will now earn around £50,000 per week, more than triple his previous salary.
City signed Bobb from Norwegian side Valerenga in 2019, and he represented the club's youth teams until last year.
The 20-year-old made headlines in December when he scored on his Premier League debut, a last-minute winner in a 3-2 win against Newcastle.
