Manchester City have learned when the hearing for their 115 FFP charges will take place, it has been claimed.
Last month City wrapped up a record fourth consecutive Premier League title and a sixth in seven years.
However, the club’s unprecedented success has been marred by the 115 Premier League charges the club are facing for alleged financial irregularities. City have long denied the allegations.

The charges, which are all based on alleged actions between 2009 and 2018, accuse City of not providing accurate financial information about their revenue, not giving full details of how much they were paying their manager, not giving details around payments to players, not complying with Uefa FFP regulations, not complying with the Premier League’s PSR rules and finally, not co-operating with the Premier League’s inquiry.
It has now been 16 months since City were hit with those charges, and the club appear to have finally been given some clarity as to when a six-week hearing will take place.
According to the Times. the hearing for the charges will take place in November, and should City be found guilty, could lead to massive fines for the club owners and possibly even relegation for Pep Guardiola’s men.

Elsewhere, the Times alleged that City have launched legal action against the Premier League.
At a two-week private arbitration hearing, which starts on Monday, City will reportedly attempt to end the Premier League's Associated Party Transaction (APT) rules.
Introduced in December 2021 following Newcastle’s Saudi-led takeover, APT rules are designed to prevent clubs from inflating commercial deals with companies linked to their owners.

While they were introduced to maintain the competitiveness of the Premier League following an increase in state-owned clubs, City claim these rules are unlawful and will seek damages from the Premier League.
