Liverpool fans are furious after Manchester City received the green light to wear FIFA's gold champions badge in the Premier League.
City won the Club World Cup for the first time in their history after sealing a thumping 4-0 win over Brazilian giants Fluminense in Jeddah on Friday night.
A brace from Julian Alvarez, a strike from Phil Foden and an own goal from Nino secured a fifth trophy lift for Pep Guardiola's side in 2023.
City made history by becoming the first English team to hold the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, Super Cup and Club World Cup at the same time.

They are now officially the best team in the world and winners of the tournament receive a special badge to commemorate their achievements.
On their official website, City have confirmed they will wear it in all Premier League games until the end of the season, starting with the trip to Everton on 27 December.
But the move is an unprecedented one from the Premier League. Manchester United were refused permission in 2008, Liverpool were only allowed to wear it for one game when they won it in 2019 and Chelsea initially had the same deal before they are allowed to wear it on multiple occasions in the 2021/22 campaign.

Over in Spain, the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid wore the crest in every La Liga when they were holders.
City will now be afforded the same privilege, in addition to wearing it in the Champions League and FA Cup.
Footy Headlines believe that the reason City have given the green light is most likely due to a rule change but they do not expect them to wear it next season.

City are, however, allowing fans to add the badge to their shirts from their official club shop for £8.
