Atletico Madrid have offered Manchester City a world-class attacker as part of a player-plus-cash bid for Julian Alvarez.
Man City are set to have an unusually quiet summer transfer window, with Brazilian winger Savinho the only new signing so far.
However, three first-team stars have been linked with a move away from the club: Julian Alvarez, Ederson and Kevin de Bruyne.

Alvarez looks the most likely of the trio to depart, with the Argentina international eager to play more of a key role in big games.
The 24-year-old was one of City's most-used players last season, but earlier this summer he spoke of his frustration at not starting many big matches towards the end of the campaign.
Alvarez - who has missed City's pre-season due to competing at the Olympic Games - said he will analyse last season and make a decision on his future.

Both Chelsea and Arsenal have been linked with the attacker, but it is Spanish side Atletico Madrid who have made a serious offer for him.
According to the Daily Mail, Atletico have offered Joao Felix to City as part of a player-plus-cash bid for Alvarez.
The proposal is that Felix would join City on loan but that the reigning Premier League champions would have an option to buy.
Pep Guardiola has previously shown interest in signing Felix, who spent last season on loan at Barcelona after a disappointing loan spell at Chelsea.

While City want to keep Alvarez, the attacker is understood to be keen to join Diego Simeone's side.
The Mail say that City value Alvarez at £75 million plus a further £10m in add-ons, but they could be persuaded to entertain a deal including Felix moving the other way.
Felix has featured for Atletico in pre-season after representing Portugal at Euro 2024, but his future in Madrid remains uncertain.

The 24-year-old joined Atletico in a £119m move from Benfica in 2019, but he has struggled to live up to expectations while his relationship with manager Simeone has become strained in recent years.
When asked about Felix recently, Simeone said: "Joao Felix is Atletico Madrid player, and as long as he is with Atletico, we will evaluate him based on how he works, just as we do with all the players on the team.
"He played a good match in the 45 minutes he had to play against Getafe the other day."
