A key member of the Spanish media has given his opinion on ex-Manchester City star Julian Alvarez after he has played just 10 matches for new club Atletico Madrid.
In perhaps the biggest transfer of the summer, Alvarez left City to join La Liga side Atletico Madrid in August for a reported fee of £82million.
The Argentine forward spent two seasons with the English club, making 103 appearances ands scoring 36 goals as he won the Champions League, FA Cup, Club World Cup and two Premier League titles.

And having been with Atletico for 10 matches now, the Spanish media have had their say on the club's new forward.
Alvarez has played in all 10 of his new club's matches this season, averaging around 51 minutes per game and scoring two goals in this time.
But according to Spanish outlet Marco, journalist Adrian Blanco is still not completely convinced in the Argentine's abilities.

Speaking in a debate episode of the outlet's podcast 'The Quintana Blackboard', he said: "I still have faith in Julian Alvarez and I'm confident that he'll improve his form, adapt and score plenty of goals for Atletico Madrid .
"The problem is that in this adaptation process he's not being the shortcut the team needs to win games, as he was at Balaidos, for example.
"I think he started the game well yesterday, moving and associating, but in a rather erratic way.
"He's not being the player who will bring Atleti closer to victory in this process that Atlético de Madrid is finding so difficult."

Alvarez started for Atleti during their Champions League clash with Portuguese club Benfica on Tuesday night but failed to impress as his side was thrashed 4-0 by the hosts.
Before heading off on international duty with Argentina, the 24-year-old is expected to feature in Atletico's next La Liga match against Real Sociedad on Sunday night.
As it stands, his new club are fourth in the La Liga table, five points behind leaders Barcelona, but remain unbeaten with four wins and four draws.

In the Champions League, they sit 23rd in the new group stage table, having beaten RB Leipzig in their first match of the tournament.
