Jack Grealish has been sent a warning by Pep Guardiola ahead of next season following his disappointing 23/24 campaign.
Grealish was one of Man City's most pivotal players during their treble-winning season, with the England international looking a completely different player to in his first season.
While Grealish only registered 12 goal involvements in the 22/23 season (five goals, seven assists) his presence in the squad was extremely key to Guardiola's style.

Grealish started both the FA Cup and Champions League final which demonstrated how much he was trusted by Guardiola, especially considering the Spaniard's tendency to mix up his squads.
Despite looking like he'd turned a corner in his City career, Grealish has struggled to make the same impact this season with Jeremy Doku providing competition on the left side.
Grealish only made 20 Premier League appearances this season after struggling with injury issues, and when he has played he hasn't been at his brilliance best.

The 28-year-old didn't make it off the bench in the FA Cup final last week despite City being 2-0 down at half-time which highlights the difficulties he has faced this season.
According to The Athletic, Grealish's woes haven't gone unnoticed by Guardiola who warned the midfielder over his lack of form ahead of the cup final.
The Athletic has revealed through an anonymous source, that the player 'accepts that his 2023-24 campaign was effectively a write-off'.

While the latest meeting between the pair was the most significant, the report claims Grealish and Guardiola had met 'several times' throughout the season to discuss the player's form.
Guardiola has been insistent that Grealish needs to 'recapture his best form ahead of next season' as City will be looking to make it five Premier League titles in a row.
Despite his poor season, Grealish managed to earn himself a spot in Gareth Southgate's preliminary squad for Euro 2024 ahead of the likes of Marcus Rashford.
